Usually when I take a break from blogging I return with not much to report. Well our family has been making some BIG decisions around here. I know most of you that follow me are also my friends on Facebook but I will go ahead and share again. The first decision we made around here is that we got a puppy. Yes, it is a little crazy of us. Having s puppy was so much easier when we did not have kids:) Her name is Lucy and we are still working with her on behaving herself. She is a little wild when the kids are awake but she is so sweet! The last time I wrote I was trying to decide about a trip to Guatemala. Well, that Sunday I went to church I found out that the meeting had been the following Sunday. I almost decided to just forget about it but I really felt like it was something I needed to do. I knew money would be a problem so I decided to ask 150 for $10. I was not expecting the awesome outpouring of people! Within 26 days I had all my pledges met! I will blog more later about the trip, but I believe my decision to go on the trip is already preparing me for the next decision that we have made. We announced a few weeks ago that we will be moving to Chicago summer of 2012. We believe that God is calling us into the city to work and minister. We have sensed a great need for Chicago over the past 5-6 years but the timing to go was never quite right. We are praying for others to join us in the mission. Once again I will be posting more about that big decision also.

Well, we have had a strange month so far with weather. We have not had a full week of school since a week before Christmas Break! Our schedule has been so off. We have been home for the past two days because of snow. This time we did have a significant amount of snow and it was so beautiful. The sun came out today and the snow has melted away so we will be having school tomorrow. The picture of Emma says what we have all been feeling. Last night she got out her blanket and her sunglasses. She laid down on the living room floor with her book and put her feet up on a stool. When I asked her what she was doing she replied "Mom, I am pretending to be at the beach!" I think we are all ready for some sunshine and warm weather.

 Oh, hey. Just dropping in to unload the million thoughts going on in my head. I know it's been awhile and once again I am writing this from my phone, so please excuse any mistakes. I am wearing my reading glasses since the last time I posted so maybe writing from my phone won't be as bad as it usually is.   I'm a little bit of a mess these days and I am entering the time of the year that is the hardest on me emotionally,  mentally,  and spiritually. These next few months are filled with dates that broke me. There are dates the next few months that take me back to the darkest days I have experienced.  I enter this fight with the demons that seemed to have attached themselves to me 22 years ago. Praise Jesus, He gave me victory from those demons, but this time of year they like to rear their ugly heads and I struggle.   "I live with a difficult child. That is really hard to write, but the truth is that I have lived with a difficult child for about 14 years. The last few years have been unbearable at times."  I haven't written a post in a long time. The main reason is that I don't have a personal computer (my work computer will not let me log in with my personal email) and I absolutely hate writing from my phone, but here I am needing to write,so I write. When I logged on this evening I found that I had started to write a post on May 23, 2022, but never finished it. We had just come off one of the most difficult years with Chloe. I could be found most nights just crying in my bathroom or screaming, "I can't live in this house with her anymore!" Her treatment towards me had escalated so intensely that I didn't even speak to her for several days and I was a little afraid of her. Okay. So life has been hard these past few weeks. Well, maybe not life in general, but I have been having a rough time. So, I am choosing to have myself a little pity party. If you would like to join me, keep reading. I do not talk much about my fibromyalgia. One, I do not like to complain and I feel like I am just a big complainer when I do talk about it. Two, the truth is that if you do not have it you cannot fully wrap your mind or sympathy around the pain I feel every day of my life. Over the past two years I really have learned to live with it. My husband and kids would see a glimpse of my pain, but I even tried to hide it from them. I really struggle with letting people know my own hurt and pain. Almost a year ago I was finally diagnosed and was able to get a mild relief from the intense pain. Of course the first few medicines work for a few months but then I was changed to a more powerful medicine. Well, about a month ago my pain has returned at full force. I was scheduled to go...
