Jeremy stayed home today because he has not been feeling well the last few days. It's sinus stuff that he just cannot get rid of. His alarm usually goes off way before mine and that kind of helps me wake up easier when my goes off an hour or so later. This morning I jumped out of bed with a jolt because it was so bright in my bedroom and I was confident that I had overslept. I looked at my phone and I still had 30 minutes left to sleep. The problem with that scenario is that once I make eye contact with my dog Minnie there is no going back to bed, she is ready to go outside. I get up and go downstairs and Emma is coming out of her room with her uniform in her hands. I told her it was too early to start getting ready, but she decided that she wanted to take a shower. A few minutes later Samuel comes out of his room wide awake. Chloe was up several times in the night. She kept getting up to go to the bathroom. We were not quit sure she was completely awake. She tends to sleep walk . She also yells at us in her sleep and she yelled at Jeremy every time he checked on her last night 😃. Because she was up at night she slept in later than the other two (which is a rare occasion). I love that child, but she makes getting ready in the morning pretty stressful. She does things every morning to aggravate all of us. So this morning the three of us ate breakfast and made our lunches in peace . I finally got her awake and we headed out the door. I subbed again today and I am ready to be back with my kiddos tomorrow. I had to take the Kindergartners over for after school in my classroom and I saw all my sweet littles. We are in countdown mode at school (13 days) and I am so ready for summer, but it is also hard saying goodbye to my sweet students each time. I just love their little faces and I just get emotional every time when I have to send them on their way to the next class. Anyway, I am hoping I will not be called to sub anymore this year so I can enjoy these last few week with them.
We came home and the girls did their homework and then headed outside to play. It has been absolutely amazing today! Emma went to her room to change clothes. Chloe came downstairs after changing and headed out the door. Emma came out of her room and I was a bit confused because I thought I just saw the same outfit on Chloe. I called Chloe back inside and sure enough they completely matched! I was ready for the stomping of feet and rolling of eyes (all from Emma) because they matched, but we all had a good laugh and they let me get their picture. Emma didn't even go change. Maybe there is hope for those girls being nice to each other after all 😉. I got supper going and then headed back to school to get Samuel. We got home and ate supper and then I spent some time sitting outside. Samuel and Emma played outside for a little while, but I made Chloe get a bath and get to bed.
I hope everybody had a great Monday. If you think about it tonight and tomorrow would you  please pray for the third high school open house that will be taking place tomorrow night? We continue to trust and believe that God is going to do something really amazing!
