I am almost tempted to change my blog's name to 'Riggs Recap" because I just cannot seem to get to my blog until the end if each week, oh well. We had a pretty good, but snowy week. Monday went by pretty fast and we started making plans for the snow storm that was supposed to hit Tuesday. Our class was supposed to go on a field trip but we rescheduled because we were not sure of the weather. We knew we would still have school, but the thought of having 60 preschoolers on a bus out in a snowstorm was not wise. We had lots of disappointed kids, but we will be going another day. Our family decided to take the bus and train to school Tuesday so we would not have to drive in it on the way home. The snow was beautiful, but not too much fun walking to the train station and waiting for the bus :) I think we got a total of 8 inches in our area. The kids could not believe that we had to go to school on Wednesday :) We are having some warmer weather this weekend so now the sidewalks ...

Sunday. March 3, 2013- 9 years Cancer Free

I never really know how to feel when March 3rd rolls around each year. I feel great joy, thankfulness, blessed, and grateful that my life was extended and my body has been healed from cancer for these past nine years. But, I cannot help but feel the pain, sadness, disappointment, and the deep longing in my heart for what was lost on this day. I cannot help but relive every minute of this day 9 years ago when I was indeed healed from cancer, but a new battle would begin in my heart. When I mention that I had endometrial cancer some people have no idea what I am talking about, and to tell the truth I did not really know what it was in detail until a few years ago when I started doing some more research on it. I know it might seem crazy that I did not know much about it, but I have mentioned before, when I was diagnosed with cancer my main goal was to get rid of it so I could have a baby. I guess nine years ago information was not as easily accessed at the click of a button. So, I thought...
