Whew...that is the sound I have been making (in the inside at least)  since Saturday. I took my two final teacher licensing tests on Saturday and since they were computer-based and all multiple choice I got my unofficial score as soon as I was finished. The official scores will not be mailed for 10 days, but I was happy to know that I passed both of those tests. I am still waiting in the scores from a few weeks ago and I am still a little unsure how I did on one of them, but I am relieved that I have taken all 4 tests and I can relax for now. We also got some great news this week that our house in TN will be closing in a few weeks. This is such an answer to prayer and I cannot stress enough how much your prayers for this matter have meant to us. The family buying the house have been living in the house since we moved in August. They signed an early occupant lease, but they could back out any time they wanted. We were also taking a loss because the rent they were paying to us did not quite cover our mortgage payment. They had until the end of September to close, so we are so excited that it will be closing sooner. Since the house is closing we are now trying to decide what our next step is going to be with our living arrangement. We eventually want to buy a house, but we also want to wise our purchase. Our neighborhood is affordable but the property taxes in Chicago are a killer! We are grateful for the provision of a place to live this year, but I am not sure I want to live in this apartment another year (actually I am confident I do not want to live in this apartment another year), but we are seeking God's leading in this situation.

I have to admit that I am a little jealous to see all the posts about school being out. Because we start later and because of the strike our last day of school in not until June 24th. I think the girls last day is the 20th and our preschool class gets out a few days early, but we still have a few weeks to get through. Don't get me wrong, I am counting down the days, but at school it is nice to be with other people and spend time with the people we have build relationships with that may not last  once school is out.

The kids are doing good. Samuel is doing well in school and scored the second highest Math score on the end of the year MAP testing (kind of like achievement tests). Emma is reading and Chloe is started to read some words. Emma and Chloe both are loosing teeth faster than we can count and it is a little sad to see them growing up so fast.

I had been feeling really good after our juicing week, but a few weeks ago my fibro started to creep back up on me. Last week it was back in full force. So, I have started back on my juicing diet today. I am modifying it some and adding one fruit smoothie made from frozen fruit per day. Praying I can stick to it and get some relief. I am also following a plan on my Bible app called "Made to Crave". It is a 21 day plan. Today I read Psalm 139 and the devotion part hit home to me,

"God made you wonderful. Psalm 139 says you are wonderfully and fearfully made. You are beautiful and loved, no matter you're a size zero or a size thirty. You are beautiful just the way you are. But God loves you so much He doesn't want you to stay in a place of defeat."

I feel so defeated when it comes to my diet and my health. Praying for a complete transformation these next 21 days starting from the inside out.
