I woke up this morning to a very rainy morning. The rain causes my body to hurt terribly, but I am up and ready to start a new day. We have a short week this week and then Thanksgiving Break is all next week. Jeremy only has Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday off next week so we will not be able to go anywhere until his break. I am looking forward to getting some things done at home and in my class at school. We are leaving next Wednesday to go to Illinois for Thanksgiving. Well I thought I would give a update on the kids since I have not posted about them in such a long time.

Samuel. He is loving first grade! He has developed a new attitude that I am not sure if I like it or not. First grade has turned him into a bit of a punk! He is growing and learning and it is amazing to see how much he is changing. It is also a bit emotional at times. I look at my 2nd graders and I cannot believe that this is where Sam will be next year. On Fridays the girls stay with Jeremy's parents and I just treasure the time I get to spend with just Sam. He woke up a few weeks ago with his first loose tooth and he was so excited. I also realized that has a parent it was my first loose tooth too :) The other tooth is already growing in behind it but the tooth has not come out yet. He is also on this kick that he wants glasses. I have assured him that he DOES NOT want glasses! He still loves to play with his trains and cars and the Wii. He is wanting a DS for Christmas and I think Grandma (AKA Santa) has gotten him one. He plays well with his sisters and is still a sweet little guy.

Emma. She is my girlie girl who is full of DRAMA. She just had a birthday last week and I am still in unbelief that she is 4 years old. Where has the time gone? It only seems like yesterday that we were missing her 1st birthday and that I would never hold that precious baby girl. She is at an age that everything she says makes us smile. She is so smart and we are amazed at some of the things that she comes up with. With her being so smart we have had an issue with her not being completely honest. She has figured out that she can blame Chloe for most of the things that she does and she knows Chloe will not defend herself, yet. A few weeks ago we went to Red Lobster for Jeremy's birthday. Emma was "coloring" on her paper and Jeremy says "I think Emma is writing on the table". "Emma, are you writing on the table?" No, says Emma. I look at the table and in a yellow crayon is the word "Emma" written on the table.  She was scolded for lying to us but we had to chuckle at her thinking. She loves to sing and she gets upset if someone is talking in the van when her favorite songs are playing. She is loving school and doing very well.

Chloe. Chloe is still my little stinker. Every day she makes me question my sanity! She can be the sweetest the thing ever. She has this adorable laugh and she can turn on the charm in a second. She has these amazing facial expressions and she says so much with just her eyes! She is talking more but still needs a lot of work. Some days she will say many words and then the next day she will be back to her grunting. She also loves to sing and actually says many words that are in songs. I told Jeremy maybe we should start singing everything to her. She may not talk but the child is smart. She is also my little trouble maker. She loves to pick at Emma and Sam. I think she loves to hear them yell. She is also a mess! I will warn you that this is kinda gross, but, a few weeks ago Chloe went poopie in her pants at nap time. She got up and came in the living room and did not act like anything was going on. I was cleaning up the house and she just followed me around. I kept smelling something but I could find where it was coming from. I started looking all in the girls room. In the bed, closet, under the bed, and even in Chloe's pillow case! I started to go toward a pair of Chloe's shoes and I could tell she was getting nervous. I picked those shoes up and inside was the reason for the smell. I was horrified! Thankfully they were a pair of cheap sandals and they went in the trash. Last week Jeremy and I went away for a night and Jeremy's sister came to the house to stay with the kids. Monday night I was taking Chloe's clothes off to put her in the bathtub and she had taken a orange marker and ink pen and made lines up and down both of her legs. She can dress herself in the morning so I know she thought she was getting away with something. I then found the backside of my couch pillow with the same orange lines. Thankfully it was washable marker. Needless to say I have a dozen other stories along those lines and the child keeps me on my toes!

I know this has been an incredibly long post so I better get going. The pictures are from Emma's birthday and the Clarksville Museum. They had a train exhibit and of course Sam was in love. They also had a Bubble Cave and they girls are trying to put themselves in a giant bubble.

Have a great day!
