January 30, 2011- Day 100

I was not sure if I should call this day 1 or day 100, but I have decided that I am going to count down to 1 instead of count to 100. It seems to be motivating to count down instead of up:) So, how did I do today? Pretty good. Sunday's are tough to stick to a diet. We usually go out to eat after church on Sunday's but I made a good choice and I decided to cook lunch. So I saved some calories and some money=success. I did however decide to eat three cookies today=fail. Then Sam, Lucy and myself took a walk in our neighborhood= success. I do realize that I still have several hours to go before I can say that day 100 was a success, but I think I can make it. I have decided that every 10 days I will give more details on how I have done (weight loss, money saved, ect.). I also am going to take a picture every 10 days to see if you can tell if I have made any progress.  I know that with fibromyalgia the idea of losing some weight is going to be tough but I am going to try.

Well, today was our first service at our new campus for our church. I helped this morning with checking the little ones in for their class. It was a little overwhelming but it all went OK. Jeremy is helping with the small groups and then I am helping at the Serve table after church. It is exciting to see what God is going to do! After church we came home and ate lunch and then we all took a nap. I was not going to take a nap because I wanted to get to bed early tonight, but I ended up taking a nap. My van has been broken for the past few weeks and my dear husband got a new battery and installed it today and thankfully that was the problem. After our nap I went up to the store to return the carpet cleaner we rented and to give the van a test drive. We have been doing pretty good with one vehicle but it will be nice to have my own vehicle again. Jeremy has been dropping us off early in the morning for school and we have been at school until 4:30-5:00 most nights. When we move to Chicago we are going to be a one vehicle family and so we are praying that my van will hold on for one more year!

I guess I better get going. I am trying to finish up getting papers graded and then I need to do some things around the house. We are having our community group meeting at our house tomorrow night. Have a great Monday!
