We had a wonderful weekend! The weather was beautiful on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was spent going through the many boxes and Tupperware containers in our garage. I am planning on having a yard sale  (anyone want to join me :)) in a few weeks and I have to get rid of some things. We are in "get the house back on the market" mode and trust me it is not fun! I emptied about 10 containers of things that I am going to put in the yard sale. They are mostly kids clothes that I can no longer hang on to. I did a lot better than I thought I would do when it came to getting rid of the kid's clothes. After I emptied some containers I brought them inside and filled them up again with things from the house. I also rearranged the kid's bedrooms to make the rooms look bigger. Sam and Emma went on an errand with Jeremy so Chloe "helped" me get the rooms in order. She was so cute. She kept asking me "dat heaby" (that heavy) every time I moved or picked up some thing. She has been doing a lot better about talking. We work with her every night saying words. She says a new word almost every day. She also has not destroyed or written on any thing in a while so we are making progress:) Sam continues to love school and is learning so much! I could listen to him read all day, it is just the sweetest. He is such a sweet little boy and he has sincere compassion for others who are in need of something. Emma is still Miss Drama Queen and borderline hypochondriac. I promise, there is something always wrong with that child, her eye hurts, her hangnail is hurting, the scar on her arm is now a mosquito bite that hurts "sooo bad". A few months ago we got to school and she started crying that her stomach was hurting. So I called Papa and he came and got her because I thought she was really hurting. Come to find out the child was upset because she did not like that she was wearing a shirt that needed to be tucked in! Needless to say I was upset that she had convinced me that she was sick. She is also getting to be a little sneaky. Last Wednesday we all got to school and I dropped the girls off in their class. I leaned over to kiss Emma and I realized that she had PURPLE eye-shadow on, except is was on both eyebrows. I was a little confused because I know that child did not have that on when I helped her get dressed that morning. Well, Emma is my child who does not require spankings, just getting busted at some thing gets throws her into despair. I wiped it off and calmed her down. We got home and I asked her where the make-up was at. She went and got a small case of eye-shadow from out of my bed (she has hidden it there with her blanket) and gave it to me. I guess she put it non right before we left that morning.

Well we had a pretty stormy day and it resulted in a tornado warning that had our school hunkered down in the hallway. Most of you know that I am terrified of storms, so trying to stay calm when I am in charge of 15 other kids is quite a task. One boy in my class expressed to me this morning that he as scared of storms and would probably be terrified if we had a tornado today. I shared with the class that I was scared of storms so if I am not in a panic they do not need to panic. If I start to panic they had permission to panic. So, we find ourselves in the hallway and the kids are all down with there hands on their head. We had been out there about 15 minutes when my little guy pops his head up and says "Mrs. Riggs is it NOW time to panic!" It was so funny! Thankfully the storm passed over without any problems. Well, I better get going. I got some homework of my own to finish. The finish line is in sight and I am so ready to be down with these classes. Here are a few pictures I got of the kids enjoying the beautiful weekend.
