We had a wonderful time in Oklahoma. We left Friday morning and traveled all day. We arrived at Josh and Allison's house (Jeremy's brother) around 6:00. We ate supper and Jeremy and Josh had to run to Lowes to fix our display for church. The kids ran around the house and had a blast. Allison and I sat and talked. The guys returned sometime after 9:00 to the kids still running around the house:) Us moms were enjoying talking too much and lost track of time. Saturday was Samuel's 7th birthday, yes I said 7th. He is growing up so much! I am so proud of him. I pray he keeps his tender heart and sweet spirit. We got up early and met some of our great friends for breakfast. They live in Oklahoma and we only see them every few years. We went to IHOP and enjoyed catching up on our lives. After breakfast we went to the Tulsa Zoo. My sister and Isabel drove up from Oklahoma City to spend the day with us. The kids had so much fun! After the zoo we went back to the house and we all took a nap. Saturday night we went to the house of this fantastic couple who go to the church. We ate dinner with them and then about 25 people joined us as we shared our heart for Chicago. Every year Bethany church has a Global Impact Conference in which they invite missionaries to come and share. We had a display and some information about Chicago. Jeremy shared our vision in church Sunday morning. It was exciting, but also a little frightening. It made what we are doing real! I kept thinking "we are getting money for Chicago, I guess we are really doing this." After church we got in the vehicle and started our trek back to TN. We got about 4 hours from home and the headlights in our vehicle were not working. Jeremy checked the fuses and also bought two new headlights at Wal-Mart (even though he was pretty sure that both headlights would not go out at the same time.) Nothing worked. We both really needed to get back for school on Monday. The highbeams were working, so we drove home making every passing vehicle mad at us! We got into Kentucky and there were tornado warnings! It rained on us the rest of the way home, but we finally pulled into the driveway a little after 11:00. Yesterday was not the best day for the Riggs' family. Jeremy and I somehow managed to function yesterday. We were all in the bed at 7:30 last night.

Well, the kids and I had a short week at school. The teachers at our school leave tomorrow for the TN Association of Christian Schools conference. The conference is in Gatlenburg this year. It is nice to have a little break from the classroom, but I am not thrilled about getting back in the car for a trip. Jeremy will be holding down the fort for me the next few days.

In Weight Watchers you get a week where you do not have to weigh-in. Well, I am taking my free week this week. I did not do terrible this week, but with traveling it was harder to do the Sensa with every meal and we ate out so much. I did make good choices this week so I was proud of myself. I just know if I weigh-in tomorrow and it is higher or the same it will get me discouraged.

Enjoy the pictures from this week!
