We had some excitement yesterday. We were on our way home from school yesterday and Sam started asking some questions about church stuff. He started out by asking me if  daddy and I were  Christians. I told hom "yes" and then he asked about the girls. I tried to explain to him that they did not really understand yet what it meant to ask Jesus to come into your heart. Sam was about Emma's age when he decided to pray and ask Jesus to come into his heart and so the past month or so we would talk to Emma but she had no idea what we were talking about. So, as we are driving home I can hear Emma asking Sam questions. She asked him "What happens to people who do not ask Jesus into their hearts?" Sam actually had a good answer, "They do not receive the key to Heaven." They continued to talk back and forth. We get home and Sam and Emma run off to Sam's room. About 10 minutes later Sam comes running out of his room with his Bible in his hands (this moment was about as precious as it gets) and yells, "Mom, Emma just said her prayer!" Not sure what she actually prayed, I called Emma into the room. She tells me that she asked Jesus into her heart. I asked her "what does that mean?" Her response, "He forgives me of my sins." I continued to ask her some questions and in her childlike faith she answered questions and I truly beleive that she believes in Jesus and what he did for us on the cross. We realize that she is young and that it is still our responsibility to train her and show her what it means to be a follower of Jesus, but we believe that Jesus does live in her heart. I am so proud of my kids! It amazes me at how many lives they have changed in the short time they have been on this earth and I look forward to seeing what God is going to do in their lives!

Well, I am totally switching the subject, but I caused quite a stir on my last post! It has been another week and I have lost 2 more pounds. It really has been easy. There has only been one day when I felt really hungry. I have been eating three small meals and I am feeling really good.

Well, I better get going. I have a lot to do in the next few days. We are leaving early Friday morning and heading to Oklahoma. We will be meeting with a church to share our vision of Chicago. We get the added bonus of seeing some family and friends while we are there.
