We had a great weekend! We made it through Friday without any new emails from our lending company and we informed our landlord Saturday that we will be moving out at the end of March. It is a little scary giving our notice when there is still paperwork to do, but it is also liberating to know that no matter what happens the end of living in this apartment is finally in sight. We continue to pray that things continue to move along smoothly with the house and trusting that no matter what God will take care of us. Our landlord was actually really nice about it and congratulated us on the new house. I don't think he is aware of how much we dislike living here :). In telling him we were moving out I realized that I may need to start packing things up at a faster rate. I have not packed too much because I wanted to be more certain that all the paperwork would go through and I have been hesitant because I really do not want to live with boxes stacked up around me for the next few weeks. I spent a great deal of time yesterday going through my closet. I am not sure why I have accumulated so many bags/purses over the years, but the number is a little ridiculous and yet I could not part with any of them. I cleaned all of them out and to my surprise I found over two loads worth of quarters, $15 in Starbucks gift cards, and I found $5 in another bag. It was not an easy task but the closet is basically packed up so that is a nice feeling. We also had an assembly line of shredding paper last night. The kids helped me sort papers and Samuel helped operate the shredder. It may sound scary letting Samuel operate the shredder, but believe me, it is perfectly safe and I protect him from EVERYTHING, so there is no way I would let him near it if I thought it was unsafe. It has been nice getting rid of things and sorting things and just decluttering before me move!

The last month or so we have been spending as little money as possible on everything. The kids have been really good about not complaining about missing special treats or activities that they usually get weekly. They got some money for Valentine's Day from Grandma so they asked if they could use it to go see a movie. Saturday we took them to see the new Spongebob movie. They bought the tickets and we bought the popcorn and drinks :). The movie was not as ridiculous as we thought it would be :). It was a fun afternoon as a family! Sunday morning Jeremy left for a week of training in Baltimore. We still had service at our house with another guy leading us in service. I would appreciate extra prayers for the kids and I this week. When Jeremy is gone it just makes things a little more stressful. The kids do get the special treat of sleeping in our room if they behave, so I think they will do their best to be helpful this week.

Samuel loves to look on line to find ways to make things out of paper. Jeremy gave him a dollar and told him to try and make a bow tie. It took him about three minutes to find  how to make it and then make it.

Some people save the top of their wedding cake to eat a year later. I have kept a package of plates used at our wedding reception for almost 15 years! I have moved these plates to six different houses thinking one day I would use them. Yesterday I finally opened them up and used them.
