I have actually been too exhausted to blog the past few days and I have not taken one single picture. Friday I did a bunch of packing in the morning but I was getting overwhelmed with all the boxes and clutter packing up was causing in my house. If you have been to my house clutter does not exist. It drives me crazy! Anyway, Friday afternoon I took the kids to see the new Ice Age movie. It was super cute and it gave me a few hours to just relax while they enjoyed their selves. Saturday I woke up to see a black marker mark on the wall in the living room. I knew whoever did it was an accident, but nobody would admit to it. I got it mostly off, but while I was vacuuming I noticed two spots on the carpet. Once again "Not Me" was the answer from all three kids. I interrogated each child together and then separately. Samuel and Emma break pretty easily when it comes to thing like this but they both were insistent that they did not do it. Chloe was holding her ground pretty good, but I knew she was not being honest with me. See, the problem with her doing this is that she is not supposed to have any writing utensil unless she has adult supervision. I went on about my morning and Chloe kept coming to me and talking about it, so I knew it was sitting heavy on her. Honestly, I was getting furious that she continued to lie to me. I finally said that NOBODY plays the Ipad until I find out who made the marks. I sent them to three different rooms and then called them out one at a time and gave them one last chance. Chloe finally came clean and then had the nerve to ask me to play the Ipad! She said," But mommy, you said that I could play if I told the truth!" Uh no, I do not think so.

The rest of the weekend was pretty uneventful except for more packing. Jeremy thought he found an apartment for us but we found out a few hours ago that it was not going to work out. They wanted us to pay for three months up front!! There reasoning was that we were both starting new jobs so they did not want to take a chance. It was pretty upsetting, but the more I thought about it I honestly believe that they knew we were moving next week and just wanted to get as much money out of us. Jeremy said it was really nice, but I was having a few issues because two bedrooms were downstairs and one was upstairs. I was not sure how that would work.

Well, just as disappointing as the news about the apartment was, I got some amazing news to also report. Last Tuesday Jeremy got a call from his principal that they were starting a new preK class at their school and needed a Teachers Assistant and wanted to know if I was interested. Of course I was!! The problem though is that it is only part time and financially we could not do that. The principal called on Thursday and said that the YMCA was using that same classroom for an afternoon preK program and guess what...THEY NEED A TEACHER!!! The principal has recommended me for that position! I will basically have two part time jobs, but that is okay because I will be at the school with my kids!!!!!! The YMCA position is not set in stone, but I believe God has opened this door. As disappointing the apartment thing is I have to remember that we have been seeking God's guidance on this and I know He has something even better for us!
