It has been a quick week! I took a half day Monday to spend some time with Megan before she left. The kids and I came home early but Megan was not feeling well, so I let her sleep and I got some things done around the house. Tuesday we went to school and it started snowing around 11:00 and snowed the rest of the day. It was so pretty, but it was a mess getting home! Wednesday the kids had a half day and our students did not have to report, so I got some things organized and cleaned in the classroom. The kids dismissed at 12:15 so we headed home for the day. I was able to work on my math class for a few hours, but my head has been hurting since I started the class :( I feel like I am getting it and then I am lost again. I take my first test for the class on Sunday, so prayers would be greatly appreciated!!

It has been a week of deep reflection for me. I actually started to blog 4 different times and decided not to post about it. I mentioned during our juice fast that I was evaluating many areas of my life and this past week I was convicted of the fact that although I have a natural ability to find the best in others but I seem to never find the best in me. I also have been evaluating how I let other people treat me. I think in my genuine niceness and concern for others I let people walk all over me. I carry way too many burdens that are not even my own. I tend to not share my burdens and struggles because I am weighed down with everybody else's mess. I want to love and comfort and show mercy, but I also need to surround myself with people who I can share my burdens and know I can be encouraged through them. I guess that last part might seem kind of harsh and I do not want people to think that they cannot come to me for encouragement! I just need to be more cautious that my gift of mercy is not taken advantage of.

 Oh, hey. Just dropping in to unload the million thoughts going on in my head. I know it's been awhile and once again I am writing this from my phone, so please excuse any mistakes. I am wearing my reading glasses since the last time I posted so maybe writing from my phone won't be as bad as it usually is.   I'm a little bit of a mess these days and I am entering the time of the year that is the hardest on me emotionally,  mentally,  and spiritually. These next few months are filled with dates that broke me. There are dates the next few months that take me back to the darkest days I have experienced.  I enter this fight with the demons that seemed to have attached themselves to me 22 years ago. Praise Jesus, He gave me victory from those demons, but this time of year they like to rear their ugly heads and I struggle.   "I live with a difficult child. That is really hard to write, but the truth is that I have lived with a difficult child for about 14 years. The last few years have been unbearable at times."  I haven't written a post in a long time. The main reason is that I don't have a personal computer (my work computer will not let me log in with my personal email) and I absolutely hate writing from my phone, but here I am needing to write,so I write. Wednesday, October 26, 2011- You are cordially invited...to my pity party

Okay. So life has been hard these past few weeks. Well, maybe not life in general, but I have been having a rough time. So, I am choosing to have myself a little pity party. If you would like to join me, keep reading. I do not talk much about my fibromyalgia. One, I do not like to complain and I feel like I am just a big complainer when I do talk about it. Two, the truth is that if you do not have it you cannot fully wrap your mind or sympathy around the pain I feel every day of my life. Over the past two years I really have learned to live with it. My husband and kids would see a glimpse of my pain, but I even tried to hide it from them. I really struggle with letting people know my own hurt and pain. Almost a year ago I was finally diagnosed and was able to get a mild relief from the intense pain. Of course the first few medicines work for a few months but then I was changed to a more powerful medicine. Well, about a month ago my pain has returned at full force. I was scheduled to go...
