There are days as a teacher that we dread. The days before and after holidays. The days where it has been raining/snowing for days on end and you are now on day 13 of indoor recess. The days that you know that there is a full moon coming soon are usually the worse. No joke, full moons put some kind of spell on children of all ages 😲. Today was the perfect storm here in Chicago. It was a Monday, the Monday after a time change, a snowstorm, and you guessed it, a full moon last night. It also did not help that I was actually subbing in the Kindergarten class today, so dealing with all of those factors with another teacher's children made for a tiring day. Tonight has been pretty low key so just thought I would share some random things going on in our family.

1. We are addicted to Pop-Tarts these days. Mostly the Brown Sugar Cinnamon. I am sure it is one of those phases and soon I will buy a few boxes and they will not be touched, but for now they are gone before I usually get one (which I guess is a good thing).

2. My current addiction is sweet potato fries. I don't even like sweet potatoes 😃, but I crave sweet potato fries. We went to Red Robin a few weeks ago because I knew they had them there, and they are delicious!

3. My children woke up the other day and out grew all of their clothes. Especially Samuel and Emma. Thankfully Chloe can wear some of Emma's hand me downs, but the other two are struggling when finding non-uniform clothes.

4. It might snow 6-10 inches tonight because of three terrible words, LAKE EFFECT SNOW. The worst part, we will probably still have school.

5. With #4, the kids are having Spring Pictures taken tomorrow. Oh, the irony! They will either freeze to death or look more like they are taking Christmas pictures.

6. I have been drinking these shakes by Ideal Shake since January. I have done well with them and I love the flavors. I decided to get crazy and order this superfood blend to add some greens to my life, but the taste makes me want to stay chubby 😏

7. Two of my three children are now wearing deodorant and I am not sure how that makes me feel.

8. Jeremy and I are all about watching real life crime shows these days. In fact one of them is coming on soon so I guess that's enough of my rambling on for one night.

These gave me a good laugh, but maybe I find them so funny because it is so close to my life these days

Oh, just driving to work. Thankful it's a short commute.
