We had originally planned to leave last Sunday for Memphis, but we decided to go on to Memphis on Saturday. We stayed with my cousins Saturday and Sunday night. We usually see this side of the family at Labor Day, but we got to see spend this past weekend with them and we had so much fun! We were able to go to church with them on Sunday and then spent some time swimming Sunday afternoon. Momday we headed to downtown Memphis to attend a few days of the FWB National Convention. We only stayed two days, but it was great to see so many people that we have known through the years. It was also great to see some that have made such an impact on our lives. It was a great boost as we are drawing closer to our move. We got back Tuesday afternoon and then we had TWO showings Tuesday night of our house. We have several that were wanting to pursue buying the house but are not able to get financing at this time:( There are a few options of letting someone lease to own our house, so I think we are going to pursue that option. Jeremy flew out Wednesday morning for Chicago, so the kids and I had to take him to the airport at 5:30 that morning. We got back home and I went back to sleep and spent most of the day resting. I have not slept well the past four nights and I am pretty tired. Jeremy is looking for us a place to live and I would ask that you would pray on our behalf. He is having trouble finding a place that will work for us. He is working with a realtor, but the problem is that they only show places that they have connections with the rental managers. It is quite a concern for me. I have spent today packing and then I got out with the kids for a few hours. All the boxes around the house are driving me crazy! I know they are kind of necessary, but I cannot stand all the clutter. I was checking out at Target and Sam says, "Having three kids is hard work, isn't Mom?" :) We got home and while I am getting the door open Emma is peeing on the doormat! Not sure what she was doing. Lucy threw up three times last night so I had the carpet cleaner handy and had to wash the doormat while Emma was in the bath. I am exhausted and praying that I sleep well tonight. Last night I even took my good medicine:) and still did not sleep well.

I did not take many pictures this week, but here are a few. The second one is not great, but the glass elevator was the highlight of the kids week:)

 Oh, hey. Just dropping in to unload the million thoughts going on in my head. I know it's been awhile and once again I am writing this from my phone, so please excuse any mistakes. I am wearing my reading glasses since the last time I posted so maybe writing from my phone won't be as bad as it usually is.   I'm a little bit of a mess these days and I am entering the time of the year that is the hardest on me emotionally,  mentally,  and spiritually. These next few months are filled with dates that broke me. There are dates the next few months that take me back to the darkest days I have experienced.  I enter this fight with the demons that seemed to have attached themselves to me 22 years ago. Praise Jesus, He gave me victory from those demons, but this time of year they like to rear their ugly heads and I struggle.   "I live with a difficult child. That is really hard to write, but the truth is that I have lived with a difficult child for about 14 years. The last few years have been unbearable at times."  I haven't written a post in a long time. The main reason is that I don't have a personal computer (my work computer will not let me log in with my personal email) and I absolutely hate writing from my phone, but here I am needing to write,so I write. When I logged on this evening I found that I had started to write a post on May 23, 2022, but never finished it. We had just come off one of the most difficult years with Chloe. I could be found most nights just crying in my bathroom or screaming, "I can't live in this house with her anymore!" Wednesday, October 26, 2011- You are cordially invited...to my pity party

Okay. So life has been hard these past few weeks. Well, maybe not life in general, but I have been having a rough time. So, I am choosing to have myself a little pity party. If you would like to join me, keep reading. I do not talk much about my fibromyalgia. One, I do not like to complain and I feel like I am just a big complainer when I do talk about it. Two, the truth is that if you do not have it you cannot fully wrap your mind or sympathy around the pain I feel every day of my life. Over the past two years I really have learned to live with it. My husband and kids would see a glimpse of my pain, but I even tried to hide it from them. I really struggle with letting people know my own hurt and pain. Almost a year ago I was finally diagnosed and was able to get a mild relief from the intense pain. Of course the first few medicines work for a few months but then I was changed to a more powerful medicine. Well, about a month ago my pain has returned at full force. I was scheduled to go...
