Tuesday, February 08, 2011- Day 91

We made it through a full week of school without snow but the snow has returned. All weekend they were calling for a light snow on Monday and a greater chance for snow on Wednesday. We had a teachers clinic yesterday in Nashville so I did not have students. I took the girls to school and Sam went to Gran and Papa's house. It started snowing in our area around 11:00 so the school was closing at 1:00. I left the clinic and picked Sam up and then headed to get the girls. Well our little dusting of snow turned into 3 inches. Our roads are pretty bad so we do not have school today. Jeremy had school but he ended up staying home because when he tried to leave he was sliding all over the road. I have class tonight but I do not think I am going to try to go. The sun is out and the roads will probably clear up for me to get out but I do not want to be getting home at 10:00 tonight. I know I talk a lot about how back our roads are so I posted a picture of part of the road that we take to get to our house, this is the easy part of the road:)

Well, yesterday was such a crazy day and I did not do very good with my eating. I did not necessarily eat a lot I just did not eat very healthy. I do not do very well when I am home so I am trying to stay busy around the house so I do not want to just sit and eat all day. I guess we will be watching the weather to see if we get any more snow tomorrow. I am a little worried because we are down to two rolls of toilet paper so we will have to get out some time to get some more supplies. Well I got a picture of the kids doing their favorite thing these days, coloring. Chloe was not happy because she wanted the whole box of crayons.

 Oh, hey. Just dropping in to unload the million thoughts going on in my head. I know it's been awhile and once again I am writing this from my phone, so please excuse any mistakes. I am wearing my reading glasses since the last time I posted so maybe writing from my phone won't be as bad as it usually is.   I'm a little bit of a mess these days and I am entering the time of the year that is the hardest on me emotionally,  mentally,  and spiritually. These next few months are filled with dates that broke me. There are dates the next few months that take me back to the darkest days I have experienced.  I enter this fight with the demons that seemed to have attached themselves to me 22 years ago. Praise Jesus, He gave me victory from those demons, but this time of year they like to rear their ugly heads and I struggle.   "I live with a difficult child. That is really hard to write, but the truth is that I have lived with a difficult child for about 14 years. The last few years have been unbearable at times."  I haven't written a post in a long time. The main reason is that I don't have a personal computer (my work computer will not let me log in with my personal email) and I absolutely hate writing from my phone, but here I am needing to write,so I write. When I logged on this evening I found that I had started to write a post on May 23, 2022, but never finished it. We had just come off one of the most difficult years with Chloe. I could be found most nights just crying in my bathroom or screaming, "I can't live in this house with her anymore!" Wednesday, October 26, 2011- You are cordially invited...to my pity party

Okay. So life has been hard these past few weeks. Well, maybe not life in general, but I have been having a rough time. So, I am choosing to have myself a little pity party. If you would like to join me, keep reading. I do not talk much about my fibromyalgia. One, I do not like to complain and I feel like I am just a big complainer when I do talk about it. Two, the truth is that if you do not have it you cannot fully wrap your mind or sympathy around the pain I feel every day of my life. Over the past two years I really have learned to live with it. My husband and kids would see a glimpse of my pain, but I even tried to hide it from them. I really struggle with letting people know my own hurt and pain. Almost a year ago I was finally diagnosed and was able to get a mild relief from the intense pain.
